1. General Refund Terms
Our refund policy explains how refunds are handled for bookings made through MMY Travela. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Payments made using American Express (AMEX) may be subject to dispute if the cardholder does not provide identity verification, even if MMY Travela has not requested it.
Refund amounts depend on how far in advance you cancel before your booking start date:
- More than 60 days before start date: Full refund (100%).
- 31–60 days before start date: 50% refund.
- Less than 30 days: No refund for reservations over € 5,000.00
- Less than 30 days: 25% refund for reservations under € 5,000.00
3. Cancellation Requests
- All cancellation requests must be submitted via our support email from the same email used to make the booking.
- Refund amount and approval time depend on the MMY Travela cancellation rules.
- In the unlikely event that MMY Travela must cancel a confimed booking due to circumastances beyond our control (e.g, property damage, double-booking, force majeure), we will offer Full refund of all payments received, or an equivalent or upgraded rental property at no additional cost. ( Subject to availability).
- Any service fees may be non-refundable.
4. Non-Refundable Charges
- Service fees, Bank transfer costs, currency conversion fees unless the cancellation is initiated by MMY Travela.
5. Processing Time
- Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days from the date of approval using the original payment method.
- Processing time may vary depending on your bank, payment provider or currency exchange time-lines.
6. Special Circumstances
We may consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis for documented emergencies, such as:
- Medical emergencies
- Travel restrictions
- Unexpected closures of the booked accommodation
